Good evening!
What's up? Hmmmmm. I have so many photos I wanna post but I have to transfer them from my phone first so you'll have to wait a bit - but they are on their way. Have lots of photos from Niagara Falls a few weeks ago - did I even write about that? Me and Matt went together over the day and extended my visa on the way. The weather was sooo beautiful so it was a perfect day for seeing the falls.
Today I was off work so I could fit in two workouts - rollerskiing and gym. As the typical Swede I am I don't wanna say too much, but at the moment I have a nice flow with the training and I have found more motivation the last month then I have had during the summer. One of the reasons is obviously because it's not summer anymore so it's not as much things happening, like partying and drinking. I have never been a big drinker, but during this summer it has been more than usual. Like, not crazy much, but much for being me & Frida. But I think that is ok sometimes cause we're just 21.
Everyone here is telling me that I should just have fun, party and enjoy myself, but for me it's not that easy. From time to time - yes totally. In the long run - no thanks. Everyone is different, so nothing is right or wrong, but I can't be happy in that lifestyle. I need to feel healthy, otherwise I would go crazy!
So now I wanna focus more on my training and hopefully I can keep that good feeling inside of me. I have my hopes set on a x-country ski competition here in Canada in mid Feb - The Gatineau Loppet. The only problem right now is that I don't have any skis here, hehe. Left them back home cause I didn't think I would be here in Canada during the winter again. It's so expensive to ship them over from Sweden, so my other option is to buy skis here- Since I work in a ski store I can buy them for half price so MAYBE I can afford that. Hopefully I'll sort that out in some way.
Now I have been talking way too much about myself. Gonna bike over to Kasia now and have some pumpkin soup together with her.
Have a good evening :)
